The 3-Act-Engineering Guides

Hi, so, I am an Engineer (yeah, right!)
No, like really. That’s all I am, and I love being just that.
I started working in tech 3 years ago. But even before that, all I could think about was how things work, how they scale, and how (the hell) does somebody fix them when they break.

The Setup

I remember the first time that I ripped a song off youtube via some mp3 converter website, and the god-like feeling that came along with that. Similar to what Palpatine felt, when he turned Anakin (yes, you got that reference right). All I could think about was that with this superpower, I can listen to all my favorite music, without ever paying a dime. The only condition is that the track just needs to exist on YouTube, and that’s it.

This guy, am I right?

Long story short, I’ve always loved tech and all that one can do with it. So, when I became a full time software engineer, the power that came along with it was not only immense but also obsessive. Cut to today, I still love being this curious enthusiast.

And even though I’ve worked in different domains as well as technologies, I never belonged to any single one of them. And that’s what I want to write about. So you can expect articles about how to setup tool X, or how to debug package Y, or how to create Z from scratch or even how to navigate through the newest tech that I stumbled upon while mindlessly scrolling Reddit at 3 in the morning.

The primary domains I’ve worked in, include:

  1. Backend Engineering
  2. Fullstack Engineering
  3. Data Engineering

The Build

Right now, I’m working as a Data Engineer, solving big data problems on a regular basis. But I’m equally interested in exploring answers to questions like:

  1. Why is Go so fast ?
  2. What is the future of Web3.0, and should I learn it ?
  3. Why didn’t IoT explode the way I was hoping it will ?

And many more.

The Payoff

So, if all or any of this interests you, consider subscribing. Writing isn’t my greatest virtue, but I do love to read, so I’ll try my best to convey my thoughts as clearly as possible.

And since I’m a cinema nerd (I’m sure you must have noticed), I’ll keep each article in the series under a 3-act-structure, i.e:

a. The Setup
b. The Build
c. The Payoff

(Hence, the title!)

Other than tech, things that interest me are: pop culture, cinema, EDM and pasta. As a consequence, expect memes or references to them every now and then.

If you want, I’d love to connect with you on LinkedIn as well. Find me at:

And, since I’m spending way too much time trying to learn French, so
